- Book Publication
Prof. Janicki has recently published a book "Fear/Less: Why Your Lifelong Fears Are Probably Groundless", dismantling many fears, among which, overpopulation is included.

- Policy Engagement
Prof. Janicki has participated in the session of The Governmental Population Council for Poland, and contributed to discussion on the role of IVF funding in demographic and social change in the Poland.

- Seminar and Conferences
1) Prof. Janicki gave a lecture during the seminar of the National Bank of Poland confronting migration policy declarations and actions taken by the Polish government. This is another way he is engaged in policy formulation.
2) He is scheduled to give a plenary lecture at the 65th Assembly of the Polish Geographical Society, which is a part of the Congress of Polish Geography. The Congress of Polish Geography is the largest conference of Polish geographers, which will be held in Lublin from 10 to 14 September 2025. The theme of the Congress is "Geography Without Borders".

3) He is also organizing the 14th Conference of Committee of Migration Research.
