[PNMI] Call for Editorial Board Members

Our new journal Personalized Nutrition and Microbiome Innovation (PNMI) is establishing its inaugural Editorial Board and extends a formal invitation to accomplished researchers and innovators to join as founding Editorial Board Members. This is a unique opportunity to guide the strategic development of a dedicated platform at the forefront of integrating mechanistic microbiome science with clinical nutrition, biomarker discovery, and digital health technologies.

1. Scope & Research Alignment

PNMI focuses on the rapidly advancing field of personalised nutrition and microbiome-based health innovation. We are seeking pioneers whose expertise bridges the interdisciplinary core of PNMI. Please review our detailed Focus and Scope.

2. Benefits of Membership

In return for your service, Editorial Board Members will receive:

  • A waiver for the Article Processing Charge (APC) for one or two articles (based on the performance) published in JCPHPN during each year of their active tenure.
  • Opportunities for networking and collaboration with leading international experts.
  • Official recognition on the journal’s website and in published materials.

3. Core Responsibilities

Editorial Board Members are expected to:

  • Provide strategic guidance on the journal’s development.
  • Propose topics for special issues and assist in their curation.
  • Support the Editor-in-Chief with peer-review and editorial decisions.
  • Actively promote the journal within their academic and professional networks.
  • Contribute or encourage high-quality submissions from colleagues.

4. Essential Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • A strong, active record of research and publication in fields pertinent to the journal’s scope.
  • A commitment to advancing scholarly communication and ethical publishing.

5. Term of Service

The initial term is two years, with the possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement and active contribution.
