13th ICPG 2026 to Be Held

03/25/2026

We are pleased to share that a member of our Editorial Board, Prof. Xianhong Qin, will chair Session 11: Population and Sustainable Development at the 13th International Conference on Population Geographies (ICPG 2026).

The conference will take place in Nanjing, China, from 23 to 26 June 2026, under the theme “Population Geographies in an Era of Demographic Transition”. As one of the most influential forums in population geography, ICPG 2026 brings together scholars from around the world to address critical issues ranging from the UN SDGs and climate change to migration, inequality, and regional development.

We warmly invite conference participants to attend Session 11 and engage with cutting-edge discussions on the interface between population dynamics and sustainable development. Researchers working in related areas are also encouraged to consider Global Population Perspectives as a platform for their work.
