2026-01-04

Dear Academic Colleagues, Researchers, and Practitioners:

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of Green HRM & Sustainable Organizations (GHSO) — a brand-new international academic journal dedicated to green human resource management and sustainable organization research. The journal is now live and fully open for submissions!

Journal Mission and Scope

GHSO aims to become a central hub for interdisciplinary research, focusing on publishing cutting-edge studies on green human resource management and sustainable organization building. The journal concentrates on the intersection of human resource management, organizational behavior, corporate social responsibility, environmental management, and business ethics. We encourage explorations from micro (individual employees), meso (organizational practices), to macro (institutional, national) perspectives, delving into the complex interactions between human resource management and environmental sustainability, with the goal of advancing theoretical innovation and providing evidence-based support for management practices.

Academic Standards and Editorial Board Development

To ensure the journal's academic quality and international standards, we are actively forming an editorial board composed of globally renowned scholars. We are pleased to inform you that distinguished experts in the field have accepted our invitation to join the founding editorial team. The complete editorial board list will be announced on the journal's official website in the near future.

Scope Includes But Not Limited To:
  • Theory and practice of Green HRM

  • Sustainable organizational behavior and leadership

  • Integration of CSR and HRM

  • Environmental management and organizational strategy

  • Business ethics and sustainable development

  • Multi-level environmental governance research

  • Green innovation and organizational change
